Thoroughly clean the surface
To achieve optimal adhesion of the self-adhesive hook strip for the kitchen, you need to thoroughly clean the surface with isopropanol or a similar alcohol-based cleaner. You should avoid household cleaners, as they can reduce the adhesive strength. The surface should also be smooth.
Mounting on smooth surfaces
Let the cleaner dry completely and wipe the surface with a dry cloth. Then remove the protective film from the adhesive strip on the kitchen utensil holder. Be careful not to touch the adhesive strip with your fingers.
Installation on uneven surfaces and over joints
Cut two adhesive strips to about 8 cm each and attach them with some distance from the edges on the back of the hook strip. Apply the liquid glue in wavy lines over the remaining surface.
Wait 24/48 hours
Press the hook strip firmly in place for about 10 - 15 seconds. Allow the adhesive to cure for 24 hours, or 48 hours if using additional liquid glue, before loading the hook strip to ensure full adhesion.
