Thoroughly clean the surface
To achieve optimal adhesion of the self-adhesive hook rail for the kitchen, you must thoroughly clean the surface with isopropanol or a similar alcohol-based cleaner. You should avoid standard household cleaners, as they may reduce the adhesive strength. The surface should also be smooth and even.
Mounting on smooth surfaces
Allow the cleaner to dry completely, then wipe the surface with a dry cloth. Next, remove the protective film from the adhesive strip on the kitchen utensil holder. Be careful not to touch the adhesive strip with your fingers.
Installation on uneven surfaces and over joints
Cut two adhesive strips to approximately 8 cm each and attach them to the back of the hook rail, leaving a small gap from the edges. Apply the liquid adhesive in wavy lines over the remaining area.
Wait 24–48 hours
Press the hook rail firmly against the desired position for about 10 - 15 seconds. Allow the adhesive to cure for 24 hours, or even 48 hours when using additional liquid adhesive, before placing any load on the hook rail to ensure full adhesion.
